An update from your neighbourhood team

Dear Resident,

Another day of patrols complete for our March neighbourhood team✅

Here is what they got up to yesterday:

🚗Patrolled Glebelands Primary School in Chatteris, Maple Grove and Westwood Primary School in March, where a total of four tickets were issued to cars parked in an obstructive manner

🚗Issued five tickets to cars parked obstructively in March town centre, including one which was stopping wheelchairs from being able to safely cross!

🚗Seized a car that had been causing an obstruction for numerous days by being in the bus stop. 

Parking issues in the Broad Street bus stops is something that is continually raised to us as it blocks the buses and ultimately slows down traffic. We would like to remind you that disabled badges do not permit you to park in bus stops and any vehicle found to be parked in these areas will be issued a ticket.
